Transparency is core to everything we do. Here’s exactly how we evaluate, score, and rank the 40+ prop trading firms listed on Flux Trading. No black boxes — just data-driven decisions.
How Our Scoring Works
Every prop firm on Flux Trading is evaluated across 5 key criteria, each weighted by importance to traders. The combined score determines the firm’s overall ranking and our Editor Score displayed on each firm card.
User reviews are tracked separately and displayed as a distinct User Rating. We never artificially inflate or deflate ratings based on affiliate relationships.
Evaluation Criteria
Pricing & Value
We compare evaluation fees relative to account size across all firms. A $100 fee for a $50K account is better value than the same fee for a $25K account. We also factor in frequent discounts, refund policies, and free retry availability.

Profit Split & Payouts
The profit split determines how much you actually earn. We evaluate both the base split and the maximum attainable split through scaling programs. Payout speed and reliability are equally important.
- Base profit split percentage (70–100%)
- Maximum split through scaling plans
- Payout frequency (daily, bi-weekly, monthly)
- Average processing time and reliability
Risk Rules & Fairness
Firm rules must be fair, clear, and well-documented. We prefer static drawdowns over trailing, reasonable daily loss limits, and minimal trading restrictions. Hidden rules or sudden rule changes are heavily penalized.

Data Sources & Updates
Pricing, features, and rule information are sourced directly from each firm’s official website. Our automated daily scraper monitors pricing pages for changes and flags discrepancies for manual review.
Trustpilot scores are updated periodically from each firm’s Trustpilot business page. User reviews on Flux Trading are moderated for quality but never censored for negative sentiment.
